Recent Works by Wake Forest University Faculty
February 3 – March 31, 2012
Opening Reception: Thursday, February 2 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Join us to celebrate the exhibition and meet the artists.

This exhibition is the second of a series of presentations at the Womble Carlyle Gallery to showcase the recent activity in a variety of media by the artists and art-related academics who teach either full time or adjunct in our area colleges and universities. While many schools produce faculty exhibitions on campus for students and the immediate community, it is our intention to bring the work of the art faculty of Wake Forest University to a different and wider audience. For this exhibition, there is no thematic thread that runs through; rather, the artists were asked to showcase this particular period in their studio practice – to reveal the varied activities that are taking place just down the street and around the corner, helping to train and inspire the next generation of art makers.
