Directions

From Business Highway 40, take the Broad Street Exit and head north. Take a right on Fourth Street. Take a right on Spruce Street. Go one block. The Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts is located on the left at 251 North Spruce Street, and the Hanesbrands Theatre is located at 209 North Spruce Street, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Parking

Parking is located on Spruce Street across from the Center. Parking fees are $1 for the first hour, $.50 for each additional hour with a $5 max. Payments are made at the Pay Meter kiosk which accepts both cash and credit cards.

Additional parking is located within one-to-two blocks’ walking distance from the Center.

Accessibility

The Center strives to be accessible to all visitors. If you have a question or suggestion about accessibility, contact us at (336) 725-8916. Free ADA compliant parking is available across the building on Spruce Street. Curb cuts are located at the Spruce Street entrances. Two elevators are situated in the main areas of the building and in Hanesbrands Theatre. Accessible restrooms are located throughout the Center. Automatic doors are located at the main entrance on Spruce Street. Service animals are welcome. Braille is on all directional signs and elevators. Drinking fountains are located throughout the building. First aid assistance is available at the front desk.

Hours of Operation

The Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and during evenings for special events.  The Center is closed on Sundays.

The Hanesbrands Theatre is open in the evenings for performances.  The Box Office is open noon to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Dining

Visit the Center’s Café on the main level for light snacks and beverages and enjoy them on the Excalibur Terrace.

Tickets

Many events at the Center are free and open to the public. Events at the Hanesbrands Theatre may require tickets. Contact the box office for more information: 336-747-1414, or purchase tickets online here.
